NETS 2.0

The research expands on the exploration of netted constructs with regard to both form and its potential for change. 

Optical fibers are incorporated to light the construct from within, rather than projecting light on it as in previous iterations                   . Additionally, the interlaced optical fibers enhance the form of the kinetic piece, as sensors triggered by human presence actuate the motor that gradually shifts the form of the net. The installation includes three lanterns with proximity sensors controlling the R, G, and B color proportions that determine the hue of the net.
